Healing from Past Trauma

We recognize that exposure to violence and abuse during childhood is a significant risk factor for serious social, emotional, and behavioral problems among children. When left untreated, these difficulties can persist into adulthood and have a lasting impact on the individual's well-being. Furthermore, this trauma may also affect the parent-child relationship, making parenting a challenging task.

At our center, we provide trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy to help individuals process and heal from the traumatic experiences they have endured. We utilize evidence-based interventions that are tailored to the unique needs of each client. Our therapists work with both the parent and child to help them understand the impact of trauma on their lives and learn healthy coping skills to improve their overall functioning.

In addition to therapy, we also offer support services to help families navigate the challenges that may arise from the effects of trauma. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for individuals and families to heal and grow.
